About Us
Space Youth Project has been supporting young LGBT+ people and their families since 2001.
We started with one group based in Bournemouth and over the years, Space has grown and grown!
We now have seven regular, free youth groups across Dorset which are open to any lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning (LGBT+) young person under the age of 25!
We also offer one-to-one support, family support, workshops for schools, colleges or youth groups, and professional training

Empower
We empower young people to have positive self-esteem, to know they are supported, to have a sense of community and to facilitate freedom of expression.
Our Aims
Overcome
We overcome and help with integration, and address issues caused or intensified by prejudice.
We also provide access to additional support and services.
Support
We support young people who are or may be lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning their sexuality and/or gender identity.
